Wasn't as good as the score said...
Ummm, let's review
Graphics-10-Me likey bloody, exploding sprites...and guns
Style-6-No different then anyother enemy spawning from depths of hell shooter
Sound-4-It would have been better...I give it a 4 for 'brains' bit, that was stupid
Violence-7-For sprites, pretty good
Interactivity-8-Lots of button pressing without the actual buttons
Humor-2-I give it a 2 for the 'brains' bit...it was a mixed blessing
Overall-6-Why 6, I don't do math too good

If...
If you're going to remake something that was good, don't make it bad. Enemies were TOO smart, no matter what the difficulty. They were also incredibly uick and would catch yo in pincer attacks often. You need to make checkpoints, as well as healing after every level. The plot is kinda stale, but the sound was good and so were the graphics. The controls were responsive and I thought the layout was okay. Just next time, try a bit harder, you certaintly have potential.

Reminds me...
of how I failed language arts. My friend and I dressed up as Tenacious D and sang this to the class. We got an F overall because it had nothing to do with Tom Sawyer...but I love anything by Senior Jack Black, thanks for the fave! ^^

THAT SUCKED
Im sorry, but that was utterly horrible. You could have atleast givin it sound. Then it would be atleast a LITTLE entertaining to watch. Plus, that did not look like Master Chief Until he face facing forward. And what the crap was that ball in the backround?! Don't take this too negitivly, but Im sure you can do better. PLUS I belive both the Halo AND Spiderman Dance things do the same thing, exept that the other one is done with sprites.

Good for a first.
That was actually pretty good for a first. I don't think that there is too much reading really, all you need is to add animation, sound effects, a tad less repeditive (sp?) music and touch up on the "humor" a little bit and it will be fine.
